Imagine the worst thing a friend could ever do. This is worse.

When Mel hears from a long-lost friend in need of help, she doesn’t hesitate to invite her to stay. Mel and Abi were best friends in university until Mel became pregnant and drops out of school. 17 years later, Mel and Abi’s lives couldn’t be more different. Mel is happily married, having raised her son on her own before marrying her husband, Ben. Now they share gorgeous girls and have a happy family home.

Abi followed her lover to LA for a glamorous life of parties, fame, and indulgence. Everything was perfect until she discovered her partner has been cheating on her. So, what Abi needs now is a true friend to lean on, to share her grief over a glass of wine, and to have some time to heal. And there is no better place than Mel’s house, with her lovely kids, and supportive husband.

But Mel quickly finds out Abi isn’t the same girl she was 17 years before.

This is the first book in a while that I sped through. The writing was flawless and flowed beautifully.

Each chapter was from a different character’s perspective and the transitions between each were smooth. You felt like you were apart of the character’s lives. There were a few twists that made the book more interesting each time. The book took a turn that I was not expecting and will shock you at first.

If you are looking for an entertaining book, you need to pick this one up!

Happy Reading,
