Competitive skier Mindy Wright, is a superstar in the making until a spectacular downhill crash threatens not just her racing career, but her life. During surgery doctors discover she’s suffering from a severe form of leukemia, and a stem cell transplant is her only hope. When her parents are tested, a frightening truth is discovered. Mindy is not their biological daughter. The race to save Mindy’s life means unraveling years of lies. Was she accidently switched at birth or is there something more sinister at play? The search for answers will tear a family apart, and someone is going to deadly extremes to protect the family’s deepest secrets.

I did not want to put this book down! J.T. Ellison is becoming one of my favorite authors because she knows how to create an engrossing story. I was questioning every character and their motives when it came to Mindy. Every character had a dynamic story and some you’ll begin to hate, while others you will love.

It’s hard to describe more of the story without giving the secrets away, but when you think you have it figured out, you’ll realize you had it all wrong.

Tear Me Apart by J.T. Ellison is available for sale on Amazon.
