Checking Into The Westin at South Coast Plaza for a Weekend Adventure

03

We had a wedding in Costa Mesa this last weekend and we got to stay at our FAVORITE hotel in California: The Westin at South Coast Plaza.

Staying at the Westin, you feel like royalty. Customer service and comfort is their top priority and it SHOWS!

Pulling up to the Westin you are greeted by a Bellhop (wearing a mask) that takes your luggage and points you slightly to the left to their parking garage. (Parking is $39 per night)

After you park your car, your bags are awaiting for you while you check in and then are kindly brought up to your room. From the second you arrive, they do the heavy lifting.

Now that they have re-opened their bar on the weekends outside, we had our bags brought up to the room while we enjoyed a MUCH needed drink. Driving 4.5 hours with a toddler who refused to nap is not for the faint of heart!

The weather was gorgeous this weekend so sitting outside was the breath of fresh air we all needed. They have this beautiful waterfall that really sets the ambiance.

Once we had a drink, we made our way up to the 15th floor where a room key is needed just to get the elevator to visit the floor. Making us feel even more luxurious.

As soon as we entered the room you were hit with a very fresh and clean smell. The room was spotless, the elevator encourages social distancing, and all staff + guest were wearing masks. For once we felt relaxed and very safe. The Westin goes above and beyond in their safety measures for their guest.

The remotes were wrapped in plastic and they offered paper cups in the bathroom and for coffee to avoid cross contamination.

Addy eating a snack at our dining table in our room

We freshened up in the room before heading out for a wonderful dinner at Old Vine at The Camp just a few minute s(4 to be exact) up the road. The best part about The Westin at South Coast Plaza is that it is centrally located to EVERYTHING. Downtown Costa Mesa is less than a 10 minute drive, walking distance to the art structures right outside the hotel, walking distance to the South Coast Plaza (has a bridge that connects the two), and so much more!!

Costa Mesa has quickly become our favorite city in California and staying at The Westin is the cherry on top! Check out Travel Costa Mesa for current deals and offers at The Westin as well as local attractions, dining, and more! You can visit their website here.
