If you know me, reading is SO important in our home. I mean, I literally have a Free Library cemented in our front yard so the whole neighborhood can exchange books and a floor to ceiling bookshelf in my office. It’s not quite Beauty and The Beast status, but it’s a start.
Since I was pregnant with Addy, I have been collecting books. For her baby shower I asked everyone to sign a book instead of a card. Books are a HUGE part of our lives.
Addy is OBSESSED with books and will bring them up to be one by one saying “book” before she sits in my lap.

Addy is 18 months old and this box couldn’t be more perfect for her!
The “Never Touch A Dinosaur” book is textured on each page for sensory fun!
We also have a few of the “Peek-a-Flap” books and they are her absolute favorite so I am so excited to add this into her rotation!
I am so excited to read with her the “Bone” book as each page has a ribbon a little trinket attached.
These books are so great for her sensory and development. And help making reading fun! She loves looking at the pictures in books but always wants to turn the pages, hold it, or interact in someway. That’s why the flap books, or ones that are sensory are so great for her age. It keeps her mind and hands busy!
We also received a beautiful art poster (see above) that I ended up writing a special note to her on the back of it. Every month I am going to collect these writing little notes that she can read back on when she is older!
We had so much fun placing her book stickers on the back of each book and I love the idea of them being personalized with her name on it.
18 months
All of the books are the perfect size for little hands to hold & we are already making so many memories reading, playing, and learning together!
I decided to keep all the books this month because each one is so unique and interactive in it’s own way! We rotate books weekly so you can never have too many! (That might just be the book hoarder in me but hey, I love them!)
I am so excited to see next months box and watch the books grow with her! I know I am going to look back on this in a year and can’t believe she was this small reading these little books.
