Last week, my husband and I returned to a city that holds a special place in our hearts—Denver. Every visit feels like a refreshing escape, perfect for a parents’ weekend getaway. This marked our third trip in five years, and each time, we explore a new corner of this vibrant city. (I still don’t think we have seen close to it all! This trip took us to the heart of downtown to explore the Museum of Illusions. After seeing countless friends share their fun-filled visits at different locations and then seeing on Instagram @museumofillusions_denver that they recently opened a Denver location, we knew we had to experience it for ourselves.

We went at noon on a Thursday and it was busy but not crowded. We were able to get through the entire museum in 2 hours and didn’t have to wait long for a turn on the exhibits.
